Education &
Outreach Activities
The Srivastava Lab actively participates in several educational outreach programs aimed at engaging high school and undergraduate students in biomedical and engineering research. Each summer, the lab hosts participants through the Clark Scholars Program and the Engineering Research Internship Experiences, offering hands-on research opportunities for high school students. At the undergraduate level, the lab mentors students through the American Heart Association’s Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (AHA SURE) program.
In addition to summer research initiatives, the Srivastava Lab contributes to broader STEM education by participating in STEM CORE events at Texas Tech University (TTU), promoting science, technology, engineering, and mathematics engagement across diverse student groups.
